Founding Editions are pre-orders. Proofs start the week of Oct 19, after our printed sample passes inspection. Your arrive-by date shows before you pay, and we email you at every step.
What's a Founding Edition?
The first 25 books we make. Each one is numbered on its first page. Founders keep that number on every volume, get Volume II free, and get first access to the Collector's Edition. After those 25 books, the price goes to $69.
What does it cost, all in?
$59 for the Founding Edition, shipping included. Any sales tax is shown before you pay.
What if a label is hidden or hard to read?
We flag it for you. Pick the right bottle, type the name, or leave the page for them to fill in. If anything about your book isn't right, reply to any email with a photo. We'll fix it with a free reprint, or give your money back if we can't. Usually within 2 business days.
Does it work for rye, Scotch and other whiskey?
Yes. Every bottle on the shelf gets its page.
Do you sell bourbon?
No. Char & Chapter makes books. We never ship alcohol.
What happens to the shelf photo?
It's used only to build the book, and it never appears in it. If you don't order, we delete it within 90 days.
